Introduction

Transport and cleaning robots are already working completely independently in many shopping centers and warehouses. They not only orient themselves using black lines, but also recognize colored markings on the floor. These colored dots show them, for example, where to stop, wait, or perform a specific unit.

This is exactly how your eXperiBot should now work: it should recognize colored markings and perform an appropriate action depending on the color.

Learning goals

In this lesson, you will learn…

  • how your eXperiBot recognizes colors and performs an appropriate action, and

  • how to use the Multisensor for color recognition.
